Clear difference
Named clinician, not a marketplace roulette
Global apps win on the phrase “online therapy” with advertising budgets. GetMindCare does not try to outspend them on that head term. We win on specificity: Lahore DHA clinic, overseas Pakistanis who need Urdu, child hybrid assessments, and one continuous care loop.
Marketplace panels feel anonymous. Here you know the face before you pay. You get ethical screening (“this is not a diagnosis”), bank-transfer booking that fits Pakistan, and a private session door that does not hand you a public Zoom ID in a WhatsApp chat.
Local directories and Instagram clinics are useful. They rarely take you from First Look to confirmed session to notes under one login. That loop is what we are building.
| Need | Marketplace / directory | GetMindCare |
|---|---|---|
| Know who you meet | Often after match | Sana Khan named upfront |
| Child assessment honesty | Quiz culture common | Screen online; batteries in clinic |
| Overseas Urdu / stigma | Generic English panels | PKT slots, cultural fluency |
| Payment reality | Card-first apps | Bank transfer + proof |
Questions
Is GetMindCare like BetterHelp?
No. BetterHelp-style apps match you to a large panel. GetMindCare is a Pakistan-rooted clinical pathway with a named clinician (Sana Khan), First Look screening that is not a diagnosis, and private in-app or clinic sessions.
Why not a directory only?
Directories list many people. Families still need one continuous path: screen → book → private room → notes. That is the product.
